Osteoporosis in patients with Parkinson's disease.

چکیده

Cilj istraživanja bio je procijeniti učestalost osteoporoze u oboljelih od Parkinsonove bolesti (PB). Istraživanje je obuhvatilo 26 bolesnika,17 žena i 9 muškaraca oboljelih od PB, bez znatnijeg komorbiditeta. Kliničkim pregledom utvrđena je starost, trajanje PB, način liječenja, komorbiditet, životne navike, ishrana i tjelesna aktivnost. Stadij PB i stupanj aktivnosti u svakodnevnom životu procjenjen je skalom Hoehn&Yahr. Procjena koštane gustoće učinjena je denzitometrijom (DXA), te uspoređena sa stadijem PB. Prosječna životna dob ispitanika bila je 63 godine, prosječno dužina trajanja PB 5,50 godina. Prvi stadij PB imalo je 5 (19,23 %) bolesnika, drugi 6 (23,08 %), treći 8 (30,77 %), četvrti 7 (26,92 %), a u petom stadiju bolesti nismo imali ispitanika. Osteoporoza je utvrđena u 7 (26,92 %), osteopenija u 11 (42,31 %), a uredan nalaz DXA-e bio je u 8 (30,77 %) bolesnika. U liječenju oboljelih od PB kod kojih je povećana sklonost padovima treba uzeti u obzir smanjenje koštane mineralne gustoće kao faktor rizika za nastanak prijeloma.
